Plays

Until recently, I thought every theater project I would write would include singing, turns out I was wrong.   Seeing the judgment and heartache faced by women with regards to their reproductive journeys, I felt I needed to write a piece for the stage.  Unexpectedly, I also felt the story would not be served through song, therefore I wrote Hysterical.  Are there more plays on the horizon?  We'll see...

Hysterical

Six best friends get together for a birthday dinner only to find they have all been hiding their struggles of defining and balancing professional and personal happiness and satisfaction.   Through dialogue and slam poetry, the friends realize they are all struggling with THE question all women regardless, of education, race, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status face, what we do with our uterus and the fallout it generates.  Though the decision is personal, we, as women, face criticism and judgement regardless of what we choose or what is chosen for us.
