Does a light pole make you want to pose?

Of course it does (as it does me and my composer Richard Philbin). But theater is so much more than jazz hands. Shows can pick us up, help us to process life's chaos, and give us ways to express ourselves.  Whether it is through full length musicals or vignettes, I seek to add to the expanding body of work of people of color and add my view to the narrative of what in means to be a woman and minority.
