I'm not happy unless I am working on a few things at a time. Here's what's in the pipeline. Legacy Part 1: African American Excellence is my first musical comprised of vignettes; I've fallen in love with the form so Legacy was the next logical step. The Count of Monte Cristo is my retelling of a classic, with the twist of a black man taking getting revenge for false imprisonment and rising above the epidemic of mass incarceration in the United States.

Legacy Part 1: African American Excellence
Revisionist history creates caricatures and demigods and ignores the important and often indispensable contributions of those whose story is left out of the annals of time. Legacy Part 1 is a full length musical comprised of vignettes highlighting the all but forgotten stories of African American men and women who gave their all for career and country; a celebration of black excellence with a dose of theatrical flare.
The Count of Monte Cristo
Set in coastal Louisiana, Edmund, in love and excelling at his job, becomes a victim of a conspiracy that gets him sentenced to life in prison. Appeals exhausted, and hope gone, he is mentored by an inmate who teaches him the path to freedom and revenge.
